TSRA Legacy Defenders: A New Chapter for TSRA

Comfort often leads to defeat. When guards are let down and alerts are lowered, that’s when attacks can happen – and can be successful – from those who are seeking to take away the rights of law-abiding Texans.

Things are considered comfortable right now. The individuals in office are favorable to TSRA Members. The
2025 Legislative Session did not bring any significant issues for 2A supporters. In the last several years, organizations such as the TSRA PAC have successfully stopped bad bills from becoming reality.

But the reality is that a time of comfort is not a time for relaxation when it comes to defending Texans' rights. It is instead time to ensure we are defeating attempts to change things. It is when we need to continue the fight by maintaining preventative measures and staying alert. During times of “comfort” TSRA has to make sure the status quo our members deserve is sustained.

TSRA’s work is year-round. Success at the Capitol, education initiatives, and member outreach efforts all rely on one thing: consistent financial support from people who believe in our mission.

For years, the Alamo Society gave TSRA members a simple yet powerful way to support our mission: recurring contributions that sustained our legislative efforts, youth shooting programs, and the defense of the Second Amendment. (If you were a member of the Alamo Society, please see below)

As part of our continued growth and digital transformation, we are excited to announce that the Alamo Society has evolved into the
TSRA Legacy Defenders. This name reflects the commitment, impact, and enduring legacy of our most loyal supporters. The program allows our members to support the TSRA mission.

TSRA Legacy Defenders are more than just donors. They are the foundation of our future. They are the quiet heroes keeping Texas strong and free.
